This young flourishing industry is starting to acquire some maturity, and it is presently necessary for the young computer artist to learn the specific knowledge of it so as to carve out a niche for himself. The Haute Ecole Albert Jacquard (HEAJ), works in collaboration with the best Belgian experts in the discipline.
The video games training provides the student with the opportunity to discover all the aspects of video games' production (Game Design, Pre-production, elaboration of resources, integration, …) by specializing himself in the graphical resources production (characters, vehicles, objects, setting, animations, effects, level design interfaces, …)
Through the achievement of projects, the student will have the opportunity to study the product chain linked with several platforms (PC, consoles, ..) high-tech technologies (engines, software programmes..) The student will also learn Level Design, while becoming familiar with notions of Game Play (playability) and Game Scripting (programming of interactivity).
The courses are given by professionals specialized in the various domains of video game.
The production of a demo is the final objective of the training.
The student will also be trained for contacting the various protagonists of the game industry in an adequate way with his insertion into professional life in mind. The outlets are: - Modeler
